It's here!!!!

I'm absolutely over the moon excited that our book is now available on Amazon and can be special ordered from your favorite book store! I've been waiting for this for close to a year and I can't believe this baby is BORN! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I loved creating it. Some of my local friends will recognize their children on some of the pages. Most of the illustrations were created from actual photos. I have the BEST and most talented illustrator, Leslie Click who has worked tirelessly on this project. Couldn't have done this without her!

So for now? I'm working on my 2nd book and promise to update my blog often. I look forward to reading This Girl's Got Grit at local schools and libraries. Hopefully after this pandemic goes POOF, I can travel to more places.
